We’re a non-partisan, not-for-profit group of Illawarra locals.
The Illawarra region covers the Local Government Areas of Wollongong, Shellharbour, & Kiama,
within NSW’s first urban renewable energy zone.-
Electrify 2515 Volunteers
Supporting the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot providing real world insights into what it takes to transition 500 homes from gas to electric appliances. The pilot will show the rest of Australia how electrifying households can lower energy bills and reduce emissions and how we can fast-track this transition across Australia.

Electrify Illawarra is the umbrella community group working both independently and in collaboration with other groups across the Illawarra.
We run events, advocate and provide media articles/interviews on the benefits of Electrifying Everything for Everyone. -

Electrify Kiama is a local Kiama community group dedicated to promoting full electrification of local homes and maximising their energy efficiency.
