Launch of Illawarra-Shoalhaven Community Renewable Program - Sept 2025

The Community Renewables Program is a regional initiative by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Joint Organisation (ISJO) and local councils (Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama & Shoalhaven) in partnership with providers ShineHub to offer residents and businesses discounted solar & battery systems and VPP option to help cut energy bills and climate emissions.

Electrify Illawarra was invited to have an information table at the Wollongong City Council launch and Repower Shoalhaven attended the Shoalhaven City Council launch.

We chatted to a lot of curious residents curious and handed out Rewiring Australia information sheets on the benefits of installing rooftop solar and home batteries.
